vegetablesSpecial vegetables that help the body burn belly fat? Sounds
crazy, doesn´t it? If you read on below you'll see it´s not
such a crazy idea.
First of all, you may not be aware that there are certain
chemicals in our food supply and in our environment, such as
pesticides, weed killers, and other substances that trigger an
estrogenic effect inside our body. This can lead to an increase
of stomach fat in both sexes, so it´s better to be aware of
this.
These substances are termed xenoestrogens, and we come into
contact with them in the form of chemicals in our nutrient
supply, in the water we drink, and in our surroundings. This is
one factor that can cause our body to retain stomach fat. This is
a very serious problem, because even if you eat organically grown
food and live in a relatively low-polluted area, it´s virtually
impossible not to be exposed to xenoestrogens to some degree.
These chemicals are even found in the cleaners we use around the
house and in makeup!
So what can be done about these substances, and how can we stop
them from causing our body to retain its belly fat?
Well, this is where the special kinds of vegetables that I'm
talking about can assist.
There are many kinds of vegetables, and even teas and spices, and
other plant-derived products that contain chemicals that can help
the body defend itself against the effect of xenoestrogens. One
of the most powerful groups among these are the so-called
cruciferous vegetables, which include cauliflower, cabbage,
brussels sprouts, broccoli, kale, and others.
This class of vegetables contains very special substances called
phytonutrients that help fight against the effects of
xenoestrogens in the body, which in turn helps the body to burn
belly fat much faster.
Of course there are many other good reasons to eat vegetables
like broccoli and cauliflower. But now you can add their effect
on belly fat to the list!
Enjoy a healthy nutrition, and best of luck with your health and
fitness goals!
